Boble is a one person company in Copenhagen. This page says exactly what happens to information you give it. It is short because there is not much to say, which is rather the point.
Who is responsible
Boble is run by Jonathan Weng as an enkeltmandsvirksomhed registered in Denmark, CVR 38994298. For anything on this page, including any request about your own data, write to hello@yourboble.com. A person will reply.
This website
What is collected
One thing: the email address you type into the waitlist form. Nothing else is asked for and nothing else is stored about you.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. Nothing follows you away from this page.
Netlify, which hosts the site, keeps ordinary server logs that include IP addresses for a short period, for security and to keep the site running. That is standard hosting infrastructure rather than something Boble looks at.
Why
So that Jonathan can tell you when Boble is ready to try, and occasionally what is happening with it in the meantime.
The basis in law
Your consent, given when you submitted the form. Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You can withdraw it whenever you like, and the way to do that is one line to hello@yourboble.com.
Who else sees it
Netlify, which hosts this site and stores the form submissions on Boble's behalf. That is the only one.
Because these are the things people reasonably worry about, here is what will not happen. Your address will not be imported into a newsletter tool, a CRM, an analytics product or a free trial of anything. It will not be sold, rented, shared or used for advertising. The only mail that ever arrives at it will be from Jonathan, about Boble.
Netlify is based in the United States. Transfers outside the EU and the EEA are covered by the safeguards in Netlify's data processing agreement, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long it is kept
Until Boble has launched and you have been invited, or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. Waitlist addresses are deleted no later than twelve months after launch.
Boble, the app
Not released yet. This section describes how it is being built, and it will be updated before it ships.
Your people never reach Boble. Contacts, calendar content, the relationship graph, names and notes live on your device and, where you switch on sync, in your own iCloud under your own Apple ID. None of it is sent to Boble and none of it is readable by us. There is no Boble server holding it, and there is no Boble account to create.
The only thing that will ever reach us is anonymous, aggregate product signal: whether onboarding was finished, whether a screen was opened, how many people came back after a week. It carries no name, no content, no identifier, and nothing about who your people are.
Boble reads your calendar and never writes to it, and only the calendars you choose to include.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask for the processing to be restricted, object to it, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw your consent. One email to hello@yourboble.com does any of these. There is no form to fill in.
If you are unhappy with how a request is handled, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency, at datatilsynet.dk.
If this changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and everyone on the waitlist is told.
